Industrial By Lessa
Back when I was in college, I had the opportunity to attend a jewelry class where I experienced a special interest and love for contemporary and innovative jewelry design. In 2012, I created a unique brand, Industrial By Lessa, and developed a couple of collections with different methods and materials.
My first collection, named “By Lessa Landmarks” was a combination of personalized jewelry and laser cutting to create something new and innovative in the field. The collection consisted of 12 international landmarks made with different colored acrylics or wood types and they were divided into groups according to their physical location. All the packaging was also designed and manufactured by me and it included interesting information about the landmark’s cultural aspects which allowed the end user to learn more about the piece.
The second collection consisted of some silver pieces made by hand or with 3D printing and they were combined with different experimental materials such as yarn, rope, stones, and others. Furthermore, the packaging was designed and made with my own hands to make the experience more unique and local.
