Casai Lounge

How to create a space that reflects Casai’s design ideology? How can we maintain a premium experience in a common space that guests can visit during their stay?

As part of enhancing Casai’s product and experience, we wanted to create a lounge area to offer to our guests while staying in our apartments. The idea was to create a space that reflected the design ideology of the brand and highlighted the pillars of the company (such as Tech and CX), and that supported different activities for our guests while they were waiting for their check-in, check-out, or for their departure flight.

The location was crucially selected near the trendiest neighborhoods in Mexico City so guests could easily access the lounge and use it as much as they needed. I personally worked closely with the Tech, Product, and CX teams to develop the perfect design proposal for this unique company project.

The project is located in a historic INBA-protected property in Roma Norte, Mexico City. The challenge was to create a design concept for the project that reflected Casai’s style and that would magnify the architecture of the building.

We carefully worked on adapting the Look & Feel of the brand for this new space. Each room or area of the lounge was designed with one of the four styles of the brand that I created during my first months in the company. The use of local manufacturers, materials, and accessories was a top priority since every Casai space has the purpose to make the guests feel at home.
